Administration & HR (WHT) Pathway

I have been working for the NHS, mostly within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Found. Trust (BCHC), for nearly 9 years. I started my journey in 2009 as an Business Administration Apprentice and am now working as a Manager in the Medical Records Department. Working for BCHC has been very rewarding and has offered many opportunities.

This is my story so far...

What does the future hold?

I am now working in a Band 5 Role and my future aspirations are to be working as a Lead HR Manager or maybe an HR Business Partner at Band 8a. However, I don’t see any reason why I couldn’t go on beyond that. In the more immediate future, I am focussing on achieving a Senior HR Advisor or maybe a Recruitment Manager role, as my experience so far, the qualifications I have gained and plan to acquire, would enable me to apply for these roles within the next few years.Working in the NHS has provided me with many opportunities to succeed and further my personal development, through funded learning and a wealth of experience.
